Principle

The Premium Pulman Impact Pulveriser is engineered for durable, high-performance grinding, suitable for continuous, industrial-scale applications. Designed to process materials with medium to fine hardness efficiently, it ensures consistent output in a variety of production settings.

Design & Construction

  • Robust Build: Heavy-duty casing reinforced with precision machining to maintain airtight operation and reduce vibrations.
  • Rotor Assembly: High-speed rotor equipped with swing-out hammers — pivot-action allows the hammers to retract when encountering foreign objects, protecting both the rotor and housing.
  • Airflow Management: Integrated blower and whizzer classifier create a closed-circuit grinding loop with pneumatic discharge and cyclone collection for dust-free operation.
  • Screen-Less Operation: Utilizing air classification (whizzer), there are no screens to clog, break, or wear out, ensuring uninterrupted function.

How It Works

Raw material enters through the hopper and is driven into the grinding chamber by an automatic rotary feeder(Optional). Inside, material is reduced by the high-speed impact of hammers against liner plates. The classifier then separates fine particles from oversized ones:

  1. Fine product passes through to the cyclone and is bagged.
  2. Oversized particles are returned to the chamber for further grinding.
    This cycle continues until the desired fineness—typically ranging from 60 to 325 mesh—is achieved.
