Overview & Design
Premium Pulman’s Pin Mills are available in large-scale models up to 1000 mm in diameter, powered by motors of 100 HP or more.
These mills are built in either Mild Steel (MS) or Stainless Steel (SS) constructions, and come with a variable-speed screw feeder for precise material input control .
Optimized for both medium-fine and coarse materials, the rotor and pin configuration efficiently crushes medium-hard, fibrous, and free-flowing feedstocks. The screen drum hole size is tailored to achieve the desired final mesh of the product .
For high-throughput applications, pneumatic systems featuring a blower, cyclone collector, and fabric dust collector are used. Discharged material is often transported via screw conveyor .
Optionally, pin mills with integrated classifiers are available for producing ultra-fine powders

Pin Mill With In Built Classification System
PIN WHIZZER MILL
Pin mills are manufactured with whizzer cone and whizzer blade. The blower is mounted on the same shaft; pneumatically material is taken through whizzer to cyclone collector.
PIN CLASSIFIER MILL –
These pin mills have inbuilt classification system with gap plate arrangement and classifier fan mounted on the same shaft. Mills are supplied with cyclone separator / Dust collector / Pulse Air jet dust collector depending upon the characteristic of material.

PIN MILL WITH ROUND PINS
The stator and rotor discs are fitted with round pins. These pins are riveted on plates. The no. of pins. Pitch, etc. is designed to suit the grindability and fineness required.
PIN MILL WITH BOTH DISCS ROTATING
These pin mills have both discs rotating either in one direction or opposite direction. The relative speed is very critical and is maintained within design limits. The discs are rotated by two independent motors. These pin mills are without screen and produce fine particle size.
PIN MILL WITH PNEUMATIC CONVEYING SYSTEM
Pin mills are supplied with blower, cyclone collector with rotary air lock valve, and fabric bag type dust collector.
