He is a double graduate in mechanical and electrical engineering. He started his professional career at the shop floor supervisor level in manufacturing.
After a period of about a decade in various companies, he held the post of general manager of M/S. Jayems Parkim Pvt. Ltd. in Bombay.
Because of his managerial abilities, he was invited to join the parent concern M/s. Jayems Engineering Co. Ltd. appointed him as general manager, and soon he became the chief executive and managing director of the company.
He was instrumental in starting the new line of business of cattle feed and poultry feed plant manufacture, the oil feed equipment division.
Before joining as a full-time director for the group, he was heading the marketing division as a director of M/S. Rapicut Carbides Ltd. He was the president of the hard metal manufacturers association for the year 1995/1996.
Extensively travelled throughout the world have 35 years of experience to his credit.
