How It Works
The destoning process relies on the specific gravity of the materials. A stream of grain mixed with unwanted stones is fluidized by airflow. The material enters at the higher end, and cleaned grain exits at the lower end.
Heavier impurities, having higher specific gravity, settle closer to the fine mesh deck. The deck oscillates, moving the stones upward toward the discharge side, while clean grains are collected at the lower end.
The aspiration system used in this process includes a blower, cyclone, and rotary airlock valve.
